Property managers have 3 options to get an applicant started.

Property Managers Background and Screening Services

1) Enter the email address of the primary applicant into the TenantMagic system.

2) Post a link to your TenantMagic application on a site advertising your property.

3) Place an “Apply Here” button on your web site. Applicants can be directed to the web page and click on the “Apply Here” button to start the application process. There is nothing that the property manager needs to do during the process as application can be started 24/7.

Once the email address is entered, either by the property manager or the applicant, TenantMagic does the rest, including customer service throughout the process. Applicants are instructed to contact TenantMagic for assistance, not you.

Primary applicant

  • Receives an email from you with a description of the process and a link to their application.
  • Invites any co-applicants.
  • Completes and pays for the application.
  • Authorizes a background screening.

Landlord / Owners

  • Notified by email 5 minutes after completion that the application and reports are ready for review.
  • Enters a decision which triggers an email notifying applicants of the decision.
